Privacy policy
On your device
Your home city, favorite currencies, display currency, unit settings and downloaded exchange rates are stored on your device. City prices are bundled with the app and remain available offline. No app account is required.
Optional location
With your permission, the app finds your current city when you open or return to the city list. You can always search without location access. The app does not keep a location history or use your coordinates for ads.
Advertising
Cost of Living uses Google AdMob for ads. It may process app and device identifiers, connection information, approximate location inferred from your IP address, and ad interactions.
Advertising consent is requested when required. See Google’s Privacy Policy for details.
Exchange rate updates
Exchange rates update automatically when connected and are saved for offline use. Updates do not include your location or favorites. The rate provider receives ordinary connection information, such as your IP address.
Support email
If you email for support, the developer and email provider process your address and message, retaining correspondence as needed to respond and follow up. Use the support email for privacy questions.
